Lively, rich in colour and illimitable – that is the Latin American art scene. Its metropolises, such as São Paulo, Santiago de Chile or Rio de Janeiro continuously come up with innovative and talented artists. This may have something to do with the lust for life and the artistic affinity of the people, but the driving force may also be the freedom that other street artists on the other side of the Atlantic savour. It is a great honour for us to have the pleasure of welcoming numerous artists from Latin-America:

The Rheinlandhalle, the heart of the CityLeaks Festivals is hereby not purely the gathering point for our festival visitors and back office, but also a colourful exhibition area. The visitors will be greeted by 600 square meters filled with Urban and Contemporary Art of South American origin.
The exhibition will be co-curated by the Chilean film director, Pablo Aravena, who will also present an extract from his new film “Chile Eaststyle”.
