The filmmaker Pablo Aravena researches urban culture in its multifaceted dimensions, be it in his action and documentary films or as a Street Art curator. In his documentary „NEXT: a Primer on Urban Painting“ he submerges into the world of Urban Art and portrays a cross-section of this art form in the USA, Canada, France, The Netherlands, Germany, England, Spain, Japan and Brazil. The film depicts the dynamics and creative brilliance of this important artistic movement.
