Street Art duo Herakut has already enchanted many of the world´s cities with their dreamy-melancholic murals. This August hera and akut finally endowed us with a beautiful large-scale piece at Venloer Straße. The big eyes of a girl and her dog, now watching over the park of Ehrenfeld´s community centre, seem to ask us: „Whose afraid of whom?“ Anyway, we´ve already fallen in love with the two of them. Herakut

Herakut are the artists hera and akut that have been working together since 2004. The starting point of their cooperative artistic work is Urban Art. In the meantime their artwork takes place indoors and for interior spaces, the spray can remains a fixed element of their work. Their artwork covers painting, as well as collages and space consuming installations. They compose their own world that is confined within itself, full of melancholy and profound humour.
